A Little More About Race...
Race DePenti is a stand out media relations and strategic communications professional with a particular passion for sports communications. Graduating from Villanova in 2023, Race double specialized in Journalism and Public Relations.
Before coming to SPQR, Race worked for the Los Angeles Clippers as a Basketball Communications Intern, honing his assisting with both Basketball and Corporate communications efforts for the organization. Race also worked as a manager for the Villanova Men’s Basketball Team.

Q: What is a hobby or passion outside of work?
A: Growing up a diehard Cleveland Sports fan and going on to work for both the LA Clippers and Villanova Men's Basketball team, I've become a sports fanatic. I have about a dozen teams across a ton of leagues that I root for, so if I'm not working, odds are I'm watching a game!
Q: Pets?
A: I have three dogs: Belle, Bruno, and Mini. I grew up in a golden retriever household, and this still holds true for us today, with Belle and Mini both being goldens. Bruno is the exception, being a maltese.
Q: What's your comfort food?
A: I grew up eating a ton of sushi (my sister's first word was literally sushi), so it's a staple part of my diet. And, after studying Japanese in college, I've really come to appreciate it even more as an adult!
Q: Last show I've binged?
A: I never saw the Game of Thrones series when it was in production, but a friend recently recommended it to me. After watching all eight seasons, I've become such a fan of the franchise that I binge-read all of the books that inspired the show!
Q: Favorite part of the job?
A: We get to know our clients on a personal basis at SPQR, and interacting with our clients tends to be the highlight of my day! Getting to know the people we represent on a personal level and develop friendships with them has been a blessing, and I'm grateful for all of the meaningful connections that our team has formed over the last few years.
